Hi, my name is Daisy. I am 20 years old and live in Buckinghamshire.
I left school at the age of 16 years old, and took on an apprentice role as a Trainee Nursery Practitioner. I gained my NVQ Level 3 in The Children's and Young People's Workforce Diploma (Childcare). I have been working in a Nursery setting for four years now and have gained quality experience in looking after children, I am able to prepare healthy meals and snacks, provide age/ability appropriate activities, take children on outings to the park or to playgroups etc and most importantly provide them with a fun and stable routine to ensure that they grow and develop adequately. In 2016 I was promoted to a Senior Qualified Nursery Practitioner and I am also manage the Toddler Room on a Monday as the Room Leader is part time. Furthermore I was awarded to be the Nurseries SEND Officer (Special Educational Needs Director) and this requires me to attend regular meetings to discuss how we can support children with SEN.
The reason that I would like to be a Nanny for a family is because I feel I am a loving and caring person. I have always wanted to work with children and since becoming a Nursery Practitioner and working closely with parents, I have decided that I would like to progress relationships further and build closer bonds with a specific family. I do babysitting for parents from the Nursery and often take the children out on weekends to the park and to soft play etc. I believe that I can be a fun nanny but also help children excel in their health and development.
I am a very kind and caring person and would love to build an amazing bond with a family who would be willing to let me join them in partnership, providing the utmost care for the child/children.
