Helena, garde d’enfant à domicile à Hereford HR1

Hello!

I'm Helena, 29 from Herefordshire. I have a degree in FIne Art, and am also a professional musician! Ive had a lot of experience looking after children, mostly my 2 sisters' little ones...my eldest sister has 4 boisterous boys, and I'm often left in a position of sole responsibility of all of them! My other sister has a boy and girl, and also often leaves me to look after them. She's also a primary school teacher, and I have spent time helping out in her classroom, and also worked as an arts and crafts team leader at forest school parties, which is great fun! I've worked as a joint co-ordinatator of a Christmas arts and crafts day at an art centre in hay-on-wye, and am soon to begin teaching a young Ukranian girl to play violin! I've also been a babysitter on countless occasions since I was 16....

So as you can see, although I have no professional childcare qualifications, I've had a lot of experience of being around, looking after and teaching children. They're so much fun to be around, and I really enjoy passing on skills and knowledge to kids. I'd like to further my experience in childcare, with a view to maybe one day leading art workshops, or working as a forest school teacher.
I'm very energetic, imaginative and friendly, and I seem to get along really well with children, identify with them, and find them endlessly brilliant! I am equally a responsible, trustworthy and mature person.
