Hi! My name is Sophie. I am a 22 year old qualified and passionate Childcare Practitioner.

At the age of 15, I began babysitting for a family friends’ three children. I worked closely with this family up until I was 18 and built a great bond with them.

Then at that time in 2017, I began a modern apprenticeship with a childcare training provider and began full time on-the-job training in a private nursery. In 2019, I was awarded with my SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7 qualification and I have a PVG membership (both of which I can provide proof of certification.

My everyday job consists of creating and maintaining a safe, educational, fun and happy environment for the children in my nursery setting.

It fills me with joy to watch each child grow into their own person whilst promoting their individual development and supporting their needs, wants, likes and dislikes - all while building a strong bond which each child.

I currently do not have a UK driving license, however, I am taking lessons at the moment. I rely on public transport at the moment, but I am more than willing to travel.
