Sameenah, garde d’enfant à domicile - MK40 Bedford

My name is sammy and I have just finished secondary education. I plan to go into sixth form in September. I am interested in taking care of children as I like to spend time with them and to help them grow. I have looked after both of my little brothers for as long as I can remember. One of them is 14 and the other is 2. As a childcarer I am supportive and attentive to the child. I play different types of games such as ball games and building games with my youngest brother which help him with his fine and gross motor skills. It has also helped him to learn new words to add to his vocabulary. I speak to him in both English and bengali to encourage his speaking and understanding in both. He can now understand what we are saying in both languages as well as speak a few words back to us. I help my 14 year old brother with his school work to the best of my knowledge. He is going to start his GCSEs soon so I will help him to prepare for them. I would love to help other children this way and look after them.
