I am a seasoned child caregiver with a wealth of experience caring for newborns, toddlers, and young children; I always bring patience, flexibility, and understanding to my role in children's lives. Throughout my four years as a student in New York City, I worked part time as a babysitter, and formed relationships with families of different ages and backgrounds, building cultural fluency and expanding my experience. As of graduating college last year, I have been working in the legal field, a fast paced and challenging environment that requires attention to detail and flexibility. These skills will serve me in the exciting new position I am to take on as a Teaching Assistant in France, where I will assist with developing the English language skills of French students. This position will bring me to the Auvergne region of France for a period of 9 to 12 months, starting in September 2018. Through this experience, I hope to gain opportunities to share my knowledge and care-giving experience both as a Teaching Assistant, and in an established role within a family setting as an Au-Pair, part-time nanny, or babysitter. I am excited to embark on a new adventure for the year and look forward to being immersed in French culture and way of life through the rewarding experience of caring for children.
