My name is Fabienne and I am a 28 year old, bilingual (french-english) Australian-Mauritian who just finished up as a live in nanny in Italy, for three little children, (B10, B5, G3). I have been with this family for a year and my visa in Italy is coming to an end. It has been a very hard to move on, as I have come to love these children so very much.

I am Mauritian born but moved to Australia with my family when I was very young (6 years old) I am bilingual in French and English and speak intermediate Italian and am currently learning German. I started studying children Psychology at University, where I did some part time nannying. I then took some time off to become a flight attendant. I worked for two companies and between contracts started nannying again. My second flying contract was very flexible and allowed to me nanny on adhoc for my little family when they needed me. After my contract came to an end, I became their full time nanny again and went travelling with them many times as they the parents toured often (they were musicians). Two years ago I decided to go traveling to Europe and lived in Barcelona for a few months where I attended a course for Teaching English as a Foreign language. I then moved to Italy, where I became a nanny again.

I believe that I am an excellent nanny. I am extremely gentle and patient with children and take care to teach them life skills, motor skills, personal hygiene, discipline, games and try and create a happy environment to give them a wonderful memories of their childhood. I am always looking up new games and crafts and art projects for kids, but also try and balance that with free play, using imaginations, letting children explore the world in their own terms. I am a HUGE fan of reading to children and think weekly trips to the library is incredibly important as well as daily story time. And most importantly, I love my job as a nanny. I take my job seriously, and do my very best.Currently, I am looking for a new position again to start within the next few months . I would love to chat more about the position you have on offer.
