Lauren, garde d’enfant à Sion mills

For the past four years I have been studying childcare at tech. I have my level 3 national certificate in children's care learning and development and at this year I have started my HND in childcare part time on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening 5-9. Throughout my level 3 I have done placements in a primary school, crèche, nursery and a special needs setting. I also have paid experience in the special needs setting. I have experience with working with children aged six months to eight years. I did placement in these settings two days a week for six months. I have worked with the children on one to one basis and in groups. I have helped children with daily activities such as numeracy, literacy and ict. Last year I done a course in speech and language and I am planning to do more short courses next year. I also know some makaton while working with children.
I also work on a Monday and Friday evening 6-9 in a shop. I have many skills and qualities such as enthusiastic, hard worker, good time keeper, patience, caring, trustworthy and team worker.
