Lauren, nounou - LE10 Hinckley

Hello my name is Lauren, I am 17 years old and I have just completed my NVQ2 in Childcare at North Warwickshire and Hinckley college. During my time at the college I worked at two different placement settings, one in a Nursery and the other was in a Primary school. I also did 3 months of babysitting where I looked after 4 children aged between 2 and 11.
I am good at working in a team and can contribute relevant ideas to children's development. I am also confident, motivated and enjoy working as a team. I can relate to children and understand their developmental needs and have been able to put this into practice during a placement at a nursery and a school during the NVQ2.
When playing with the children I like to see what there strengths and weaknesses are but I make it into a game so the won't get bored and they will put all the effort into the game. For example if I wanted to know what their counting capability was I would put so many objects out and let them count them.
