I am a middle aged lady originally from the UK whose children are now grown. Although I have no formal qualifications I have the common sense and experience that comes raising two happy well-balanced individuals.
My preference would be the 3-10 age group, but I would be happy to care for younger children also. I am a very patient person and think it's important to listen to children while still maintaining a reasonable amount of discipline in accordance with the parents wishes.
I have played many board games, built numerous Lego models, finger painted, and been a guest at many a doll and teddy tea party.As I have both a son and daughter I haved played with as many toy cars and trains as Barbie dolls.
I also taught my children simple arithmetic and the basics of reading and writing before they started preschool.
