Hi,
My name is Melissa although known as Lisa.
I have recently been made redundant from an office job where I worked for 2 years after leaving college. I now have the opportunity to try and get into the line of work that I studied. I studied for 2 years at college and I am a fully qualified Early Education and Childcare practitioner. Although a nursery setting is quite different to a home setting or baby sitting, I like to think that I communicate and build positive relationships with both children and parents. Through the years I have had a lot of experience with children through the family and enjoy engaging with them as much as possible. As previously worked in a nursery I know that a nursery setting is not for me and I would like to put the knowledge and experience I have gained into something different and try new things that I think I will enjoy better. I think 8 pound per hour would be a very reasonable rate as a lot of other care industries can charge quite a bit more than this.
