I have successfully raised four children and the reason I know I have been successful is because they fully embrace the challenging world we live in. I encourage all children to have a "can-do" attitude, resilience to get back up after a fall, understanding that we are all different, have the knowledge that kindness breeds kindness and how manners show respect. All of the above coupled with an abundance of fun and laughter, love and understanding build strong, healthy, happy children. I have 9 years experience working in education within Early Years (ages 4/5) and Key Stage 1 (ages 5-7) supporting children with their independence, social interaction, imaginative play, reading, writing & phonics. I have also worked on an ad-hoc basis in all other year groups with children up to age 11. I am currently, and have been since January 2015, a senior family support worker supporting & engaging with families who require support in areas such as; home management, how to fully engage & play with your child, routines & boundary techniques, build resilience in children, creative activities, healthy plate, the importance of & how to attach and bond with your new born, looking after me so I can look after them (parents), toddler tantrums and how to deal with them, age appropriate toys for development, safety, home-work help, how to access resources in your community and give advice & support in various other areas. I am looking to support a mother with young children in all areas that she requires, including house work which is just as important for calmness, organisation and good wellbeing. I am known for my creative, fun games (in doors & out) and my happy, positive, kind, caring nature. Children need to learn everything they do and my patient disposition will give your child/ren time to achieve; whether it's putting in a puzzle piece, climbing a step or putting on their wellies! The smallest achievement builds confidence! I am Angela & I would like the opportunity to work with an easy going, loving family who need a mothers help.
