Marina, nourrice à Aberdeen

To whom it may concern,

My name is Marina Guillen Arino and I have just finished working as a head supervisor in The Beautiful Mountain restaurant, located in Belmont Street, which recently closed -managing my full time work schedule with my Masters degree. I have been very lucky to be accepted as a teacher in a very well known nursery in the city, keeping myself busy from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. Apart from this, I would like to find another job which could complete my weekly hours in the evenings and in the weekends, if possible.

What inspires me the most is anything related to direct contact with people, interacting with passion to help achieving every person’s need as an individual. Even though I have always felt a special vocation for the educational field, loving teaching languages and humanities subjects, helping children with special attentions and transmitting the excitement of learning not only a new language but also its culture and traditions, I enjoy working in places which let me be communicative, keeping me active, self-motivated, organized, committed, determined, and helps me improving my personal skills in a friendly, vivid but also responsibly hard working atmosphere. As we say in Spain, a day in which you have not learnt anything new, is a day you have lost.

As it can be read on my above attached CV, I have lots of experience dealing with people (starting from customers in restaurants to children, teenagers and adults who I have taught a wide range of humanities courses, modern languages, literature, re-educational behaviour and studying techniques, or who I have volunteered with-for). Having worked as a teacher, an office assistant, a supervisor after several waitressing positions, a nanny plus all the volunteering and educational external training courses I attended, together with my University studies and Europe-exchanges has gifted me with the skills and capacities to face any kind of work and situation as far as I believe in what I am doing. I feel myself fully capable to always open new doors (with or without experience) since I own the essential ingredients: positive energy, responsibility, self-motivation and the illusion to everyday learn -and teach- something new which will enrich and nourish my tomorrow.
