Hello, I'm Eleri.
I have two passions in life; childcare and animals.
Most weekends I spend in the countryside helping on my grandparents farm with our sheep. Being outdoors is something I love, may it be farming or photographing majestic scenery.
During the summer I attend agricultural shows competing with our sheep.

I love to get to know a child on an individual basis, get to know what they love and why. Look at how they play and learn to see where I can help them grow.

I currently work at a Montessori Nursery where I am based in the toddler room however I have had the pleasure of working in the baby room too. Working in a Montessori nursery has shown me that children can be very independent from an extremely young age if we let them and teach them the skills they need to do so.

Previous to this I worked as an early entitlement teaching assistant, where I worked with a small group of three year olds to prepare them for nursery within a school setting. This involved teaching them the routine and tracking their educational abilities and helping them develop those further.

I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for the foundation phase working with children from 4-11 years of age. During this role I helped many children on a 1-2-1 basis.

I have also worked as a coach for stretch n grow which is a company that helps little ones learn about our physical and nutritional needs through fun mini fitness routines to music.

For a short time I tutored a 6 year old. I helped her focus, and found the way she learnt best; this then enabled her to achieve higher grades and gain more self confidence in her abilities.

I am looking to find a family who need full time help with their little ones. I love to cook and clean too, house duties are something I also take pride in.
