Hello, my name is Amber. I'm 21 and am looking to start working as a child carer.
As you can see from my profile, I have a CACHE award certificate and diploma in child care.
I've had training in a multitude of care environments, from nurserys, primary schools and home care/baby sitting. For a while I was also a respite carer for a lady who fostered children.
My qualities as a carer are friendly, approachable, caring, empathetic, educational, bubbly and respectful. I believe that children learn and grow best when they feel cared for and confident, which I believe my approach allows.
The work which I am looking for is varied, I'm either looking to work for one family full time or for a couple of families on a part time/babysitting ratio. I am more then happy to chip in with any house work while I'm working, whether that be cleaning, cooking food, or walking the family dog.
I have my own car which i am more then happy to use to pick and drop children off as required. However I do drive a mini so am limited to 3 passengers.
I am an organised hard worker who is usually prepared for just about anything and there isn't anything that I would shy away from trying.

My babysitting charge is higher then my hourly rate because babysitting is usually shorter hours at more in demand times such as evenings, weekends and after school hours. My daily and part time rate is because I am qualified eith level 3 CACHE award certificate and diploma. To gain this is studied for 2 years and did training in all areas of nursery, pre school and primary school including planning activities, cooking and general care.
