Claire, nourrice à Edinburgh

My name is Claire, I am 21 years old and I am currently working as an au pair for 3 children in Spain but will be returning to Edinburgh in the middle of August.
I am a fun and outgoing person who has a passion for working with children. I studied primary teaching at the University of Edinburgh for two years however, due to personal circumstances, I left the programme and graduated with a diploma in higher education an I am now looking to find a job as a nanny/babysitter.

I have extensive experience working with children of all ages in both an academic and recreational environment. Throughout my time at high school I carried out a lot of work experience at my old primary school as working with children is something that I have always been extremely passionate about. I have also volunteered in a private nursery as part of my Duke of Edinburgh award which involved me working with children between the ages of two and five. These experiences lead me into studying primary education at the University of Edinburgh where I remained for two years and undertook several weeks placement in nurseries and primary schools.
I also have young cousins, aged between 1 and 9, who I often care for. These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong sense of patience and a keen awareness for interacting with children in a fun yet safe manner.
