Nikki, nourrice à domicile à Enfield

Hi everyone, i’m Mrs Nikki. I have been working with children in Early Years the last 20 years or so (I was 17 when I started my training and 1st placement in a pre-school) and by age 21 I was the manager of a 30 place pre-school in East London UK.

I’ve done every possible role in EYE in the last 20 years from nursery nurse/practitioner, room leader, DM, Manager and my last role in the UK was Senior Nursery Manager for 10 years in Enfield UK although I was still heavily involved with the children daily!

In Cyprus I have worked in International Schools, been the Kindergarten Teacher & Deputy Head of an Early Years School (which unfortunately closed due to covid) and have started private teaching/nannying and Teaching English (which I love!).

I will be back in UK for Summer 2021 so I am looking for a short term position.

I am advocating individualized learning and learning through play in my practice. I love private teaching because it allows me to really get to know the child and plan individualized learning to help them develop. I can also teach English through phonics programs such as ‘Jolly Phonics’ and through activities, stories, songs and games.
