Over the last 15 years I have worked in both private and public schools in the UK and abroad. I have experience of working with children from the ages of 3 to 12 and am happy with children who require that extra support in their care and development and those that are ready and eager to move onto the next challenge. Having worked with children with dyslexia, ADHD and Downs Syndrome this has challenged me and given me a bagful of strategies, patience and resourcefulness to bring to the next chapter of working in the funny talented world of children. While children require freedom to express and find themselves they also need a guiding hand to gently lead, assist and encourage.
Running an after school club the requirements change and one has to be adaptable and flexible.
As a parent myself I am aware and respectful of the needs and wishes of the parent and ensuring that everyone needs are met results in happy thriving confident children which is the aim.
