Elena, nourrice à Loughborough LE11

I regularly help to take care of my younger cousin who is now fourteen. She was born prematurely with cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus and autism so I have gained a lot of knowledge about catering to a child's specific needs and the responsibility that comes with caring for a baby, child and now teenager. I am open minded, extremely patient and passionate about seeing children grow and learn about the world around them.
I have also spent time working as an Au Pair in Milton Keynes. I took on the responsibility of caring for a young baby who was four months when I arrived. As well as this I cared for the two pet dogs and often cooked and cleaned; improving my ability to multitask. Moving in with a family I had never before met meant that I had to quickly adapt to their way of living. Being able to take initiative, be reliable and of sound judgement were all a must as I was left with the baby and dogs as the parents went out to work. There were multiple occasions in which I offered to take care of the baby at night on top of my regular responsibilities as she was still waking for feeds. I gained excellent time management skills as routine was vital and being able to easily communicate to the parents the days activities was paramount. I am also currently gaining further experience in childcare by volunteering at a nursery in Loughborough working mainly with pre-school aged children as well as younger age groups.
