I am a mother of three children, two are at University and the other attends a local grammar school.
I have worked for the last eleven years as a childminder, and gained an outstanding grade in this. I enjoy working with children but I wish to go out to work and care for children in their own home rather than my home having lots of toys in it. I would like a live out position as have my own family. Working at least three days a week if not four. I am happy to do some light housework.
I have a level four qualification which is a certificate in early years practice, and a cache level three diploma in home based childcare, these cover caring for and supporting children's learning from age birth to eight years of age. I also have first aid training, and have completed many courses for my own professional development for example on communication and language, enabling environments, and baby sign language.
I am a patient, caring, friendly person, and I form relationships with children quickly. I have experience following the Early years foundation stage curriculum. I enjoy the following activities with children such as arts and crafts, cooking, messy play, play dough, water and sand play and singing and dancing. As well as playing ball games, blowing bubbles and playing at the park, and walks to feed the ducks.
