Zoe, auxiliaire parentale à Portadown

Hello! I'm Zoe, I am 22 and I have always had a passion for looking after children. Any job that allows me to work with or look after children has been my dream since I, myself was a kid. I have both personal and professional experience with children from all ages. Growing up with four brothers who were all younger than me was great. I helped out when I could. I also have a sister who has two small children, who I babysit now and again. They are 1 and 4 years old. I previously looked after another little girl (5) on Thursdays for a few hours after school. I would make her a snack, help her learn some of her letters and help complete any homework that she had, while also keeping her stimulated through the use of games. Volunteering also let me pick up experience on how to build relationships with children and young people and it has taught me how to be a great role model. I currently volunteer at a local youth organisation on Tuesdays and Wednesday evenings. Within this organisation I work with children and young people from the ages of 4 right up to 18. I am not as experienced as others but I am hard working, keen, punctual, and I'm great with children!
