My name is Carol and I am an older adult who has always loved kids and pets. I am the oldest in my family so of course with younger siblings parents get you to babysit for "free" with the younger ones. That happened in my family where I helped mostly look after my youngest sibling who is ten years my junior, for three years. Also cooked, cleaned and looked after my dad and siblings after my mother left us when I was a teen. I have also looked after friends kids as well as some other peoples over the years. I am looking to do some babysitting, perhaps some fresh-air outings - walking, playground, keeping kids busy and happy. I am familiar with cooking and light cleaning around the house as well. Keeping kids amused - cooking, baking with them in the kitchen....playing board games, cards and other things like that which I have done in the past. It's much better for kids to get outside during good weather, or play in the house during bad weather rather than sit in front of a TV or play games on the computer or phone. I recently also cooked for my mom for six months and made sure she ate as healthy as possible (organic) before she passed away earlier this year. I also have a B.A in Fine Arts and have a part-time home cleaning business of my own right now.
