Matara, nourrice - LS3 Leeds

Hello, I'm Matara.
I have over 5 years experience of working with children.
I have lived in Leeds for just over 2 years now while studying for my foundation degree in Playwork.
This course enabled me to understand the importance of play and that children need to experience and have to be given a range of different opportunities to exercise their play right.

I have always wanted to work with children and this reflects on my experiences and choices in education. I have completed the CACHE diploma level 3 in childcare and education completing 6 placements in schools and nurseries.

I have recently returned from Spain, July 2014. Where I worked in a nursery that taught English to children, this was a fantastic
opportunity for me and I learnt a lot!

I currently work in a nursery here in Leeds and have done since July 2014, however I have always wanted to have a one to one relationship with a child/ren and their family and help support the running of their household as well as contribute to experiences that the child would not get in your standard nursery setting.
I have also worked in various other nurseries and as a manager in an out of school club.
I am DBS checked and Paediatric first aid trained.
