My name is Isra and I'm a medical student. In my spare time, I enjoy martial arts. I have done taekwondo for 8 years and have been a black belt for 4 years. I'm now going to the Asian Championships. I've worked in a care home, volunteered at a camp site for the disabled and volunteered at sure start, gaining vast amounts of experience about how to care for people with a range of different health complications and how to communicate with different people. Despite being 20, I have vast experience with children. From being the eldest cousin on my mum's side, to working in a primary school and volunteering at sure start for 2 years. I volunteered at sure start for children aged 1-4. In the primary school, I worked alongside an 8 year old who struggled to read, and educated her for 6 months. I then worked in the same primary school as a breakfast assistant for children aged 5-10 for 9 months.
