Hi, my name is Martine and I love looking after children and helping them develop. I am a bubbly person and always try to meet the expectations of those expecting from me. I love being set challenges and think of every challenge as equal in the fact that I give 100% to any and every challenge.
I am currently in an apprenticeship and 3/4 the way through completely my NVQ level 2 in childcare, however I want to expand my childcare help and offer to families instead of a nursery as I think this could potentially help the child/children more in their development.
I do take pride in my appearance and think that this is a good thing as children look up to me as a role model and I intend to be a good one, I listen to the children, use my manners and respect the children otherwise they won't respect me.
I love the outdoors and think that children should regularly be able to access the outdoors whether that's to play or go for a walk or even a picnic. I love cooking and baking and have no trouble cooking snacks and/or meals for the child/children. I also enjoy reading stories so story time/bed time would be no trouble at all.
