About me and work objectives:
I am a creative, responsible, caring and disciplined educator that hails from the countryside of Tampa County Florida. Since the age of six years old I was in dance class and later attended a Magnet high school under the dance program, graduating with high honors. I continued my passion for movement by becoming a personal trainer with ACSM in the States. In 2010 I moved to Mexico where I obtained my TKT and TESOL English teaching certificates and began working with preschool children. Ten years later I still have a strong passion for children and education. I have worked with various age groups since and believe education is a lifelong adventure that should be fomented and nurtured. I use my love of yoga, art, sports and science to create dynamic learning environments where I can foster children's independence, guiding them instead of dictating, in order to promote free yet disciplined beings. In my free time I enjoy oil painting focusing on the unity between animals and plants. I enjoy continually expanding my horizons and have completed various mini university courses (MOOC courses) on wellness, plant biology, environmental awareness and child care education (C.C.P.) I can read music and have been playing the flute since I was seven years old, having participated in the school band and playing at retirements homes, weddings, and restaurants when I was older. I live with my two best friends; a black cat named Frida and a tricolored, named Yetl. I also speak fluent Spanish et aussi le française mais il est un nivel presque intermediarie, alors je étudie tourjours. Seeking a position where I can use my experience to provide a safe and fun educational atmosphere. I like working hard and using innovative and imaginative ideas to copulate book knowledge with interactive activities to make learning fun. This is a path that motivates students into expanding their horizons through self-growth and discipline.
