Tallulah, garde d’enfant ponctuelle à Bath BA1

Hello! I'm Tallulah. I'm a student studying at Bath Spa doing English Literature. I'm hoping to stay on an extra year to do a teaching qualification to become a secondary school teacher for English.

I am looking for part-time work as I currently work in retail and I would like to have a job that I enjoy more and gives me more experience in working with children! I'd be looking for a maximum of around 20 hours per week, with my availability being very flexible over summer (until term begins in October), and once university begins, I will be available on Fridays as well as every evening from 5pm and every weekend if needed!

I have grown up with younger siblings, cousins and other young family members my entire life, so I have always looked after children! I love being around kids as I have so much energy and enthusiasm, so being active and playing games or helping with homework is perfect for me! I've always had a maternal, caring, protective nature ever since I can remember and I truly love looking after people, and it's something that I feel incredibly passionate about doing as a career and throughout my life. I love to help people!

In terms of experience, like I said, I have grown up with kids my entire life. Other than that I worked as a volunteer for the Brownies back in my hometown for years before I came to Bath. So I am well versed in games, activities and crafts! I also studied Health and Social Care in school, which included early years development. So while I don't have the most experience, I am looking for a family who will give me a chance to show my enthusiasm to and give me a chance at getting some experience in childcare.
