Laura, garde d’enfant ponctuelle à Columbia-Shuswap

I am a 41 year old, educated, fun woman who has raised my own daughter. Many of those years I was a single parent. My daughter recently graduated and is residing near her father and stepmother preparing to attend university/college very soon.

I love children and believe it is important to play with them and give them your undivided attention when they require it. Having been a mother for many years, I realize the importance of validating their opinions and feelings when they require that. Fun is as important as constructive corrections.

I also believe that children should contribute around the home, dependent upon their age and teaching a child how to be tidy and helpful starts when they are young.

It is important to have children playing outdoors and away from technology whenever possible. Being active outdoors and engaging in physical activity as well as participating in group activities help reduce weight, improve self-esteem and generate the ability to work with others in group settings.

I am available for regular scheduled shifts as well as the odd evening or weekend when mom and dad need to get away!
