Brandon, garde d’enfant ponctuelle - SA11 Neath

My name is Brandon, I'm 19 and I'm currently a History student at Bath Spa University home for the summer months. I love being around children and I am striving to become a History teacher for that very reason. I did very well at school and college so I feel I can help with homework. I always put what a child wants first and would have no worries about watching children's programmes, films or playing games. Whatever the child would want I would be happy to go along with but I am also willing to adhere to any instructions left by the parent/guardian. I have looked after my younger brother, who is now 13, since he was very young and I have also looked after my 7 year old cousin numerous times over the past few years. I also have a 16 year old step-brother with special needs who I look after from time to time and we get along incredibly well. I also take my 9 year old step-sister down to the park every time I see her because it just puts a huge smile on my face to see children smiling and hear them laugh. I believe I would be a fun childcarer. I have no professional experience as I have put my studies first over recent years but whilst I'm home from university I firmly believe caring for children is for me. I have always loved playing with the younger members of my family and my mother has particularly always said that my relationship with children is something she loves.
