Ruth, garde d’enfant ponctuelle - TA20 Chard junction

I am a mum to two children aged 12 1/2 and 15 years and I teach part time at a local primary school. Now my children have grown up and become independent, I miss caring for young children and find I'm now looking to do this the two days that I don't teach! It would be lovely to spend time with young children without the pressure of planning, assessing and marking! I teach Forest School to a range of primary aged children and therefore a big lover of the great outdoors and the thrill it can provide for young children. I love to engage in making and creating and really enjoy cooking. I used to work part time in a local library and adore books. I also achieve satisfaction from household chores and very happy to run errands/shop as I love to make use of my time and be busy! I'm a big animal lover so happy to care for them too! I regard myself as friendly, hardworking and reliable.

I have taught primary aged children for 20 years and I specialised in the Early Years when I trained. I have become level 3 Forest School trained and set up/run this provision at our school part time. I am CRB checked and have up to date safeguarding training. I am also first aid trained. Most importantly I am a mum which I love being.

I work Weds, Thurs and Fri at a local primary school. I'm therefore available Monday's and Tuesday's. I receive 13 weeks holiday a year from school so could possibly do extra days in school holiday times.
