i am a bubbly, caring, enthusiastic OFSTED registered childminder i am a mother to my three sons aged nineteen, fifteenth and two years old . my oldest son started university this September so is rarely at home but he has had a full dbs check done.I live in a very quiet area but am on the same road as a nursery that has been awarded outstanding for the last few years and have a couple of junior schools within walking distance. I have an enclosed back garden with many outside toys and inside toys for varied ages. also there is a green at the front of my house and two local parks nearby.
I am a short walking distance from the main line train station where parents working in London can commute from. I will open 46 weeks a year.I am just recently registered by OFSTED. so i am new to childminding but had 9 years experience in childcare I strive to provide a safe, caring and reassuring environment, where children will be stimulated without being pushed beyond their abilities.
I will provide experiences and activities that are fun and enjoyable which can be simplified or extended to suit individuals. To help me with this, I use the Early Years Foundation Stage, a framework that sets standards for Learning. All my activities are play based and incorporate all of the aspects for Learning and Development.I have worked in childcare as a school assistant cook for six years and have also worked in an after school club and breakfast club as a play worker for the last eight years, i also have experience due to being a mother to my sons for nineteen years and my oldest son has been diagnosed with dyslexia , also my fifteenth year old son had severe food and medicine allergies, low immune system and eczema till the age of seven and was under a specialist and GOS hospital so I have a good understanding and knowledge regarding food/medicine allergies. also i have looked after many of my friends and families children during school holidays throughout the years.
