My name's Brigitte,
I am looking for a nanny job offering at least 25 to 30 hours.
I am happy to be sole charge but equally happy to have mum around.
My qualities as a childcarer are patience, flexibility, reliability, common sense, fun. Happy to get down and play at a child's level, act silly, be adventurous with role play and be firm when required.
Children of all ages love imaginary play, I know I do, There's a childlike quality in the most stoic of adults. Who doesn't want to pretend a chair is the number 47 bus to sofaville, or a leaf flying a fairy on adventures. Everyday is a learning opportunity, I like to make learning fun, I like to make tasks fun.
I like arts and crafts, I can make my own playdough, kids love messy play and they should be given the opportunity to get messy as often as possible, from making cakes to making footprints. Life is fun.
