I'm currently studying at college, hoping to go to University to study Media Communication. Due to this I am looking for baby-sitting work and part time jobs to gain an income.

I do not have any qualifications in childcare, however I have previously done work as part of a Creche team at a church, where I took on the roles of leading group singing, craft activities and just generally looking after the children.

In the Summer I often look after the four children of a single parent who I know through my parents. A typical day would include playing with the children & their toys, ensuring their safety, ensuring that they are well fed (I try to be healthy with occasional treats), and keeping the house clean. Before putting them to bed I would read with them and help them brush their teeth.

As a babysitter, I think it's vital for the parents to feel comfortable in allowing someone else to look after their children, so I ensure that the trust is made. I make sure that I have a number of a parent/carer so that during the time of my job role I can let them know all is ok. I'm a friendly and confident character who is willing to put my all into a job.
