Valerie, baby sitter à Glasgow

HI, Im Valerie....I'm a Nanny living in the south side of Glasgow. I own my own little flat there ..near to Queens Park and I often go walking there and my favourite Pollok park....
I have been looking after childrenched since I was 21 years old. I started as a student nusery nurse at Happy days nursery in Busby....and attended college , gaining my svq2 in childcare first then went on to do the Hnc in childcare and education.
this gave me the knowledge to understand children's behaviour....their stages of development....why they do what they do and the milestones they meet along the way
I have thoroughly enjoyed my studies and made sure I knew first aid...so that I can be reassured and confident in my workplace that I can do my upmost if anything untoward happened.
I have worked with children with various allergies. so I am up to date with my knowledge of how to make sure the children stay safe.
having the opportunity to work in Geneva was a lovely experience...it took nannying to a new level and my organisational skills grew ....and I became ready for any eventuality...able to cope with situations I never thought I'd be in.
travelling with my host family on planes and learning to navigate my way around in a foreign place....learning the language and eating new and wonderful foods
I liked going to their music and movement classes with the children. they had new ideas and great concepts.
I take an art class on Saturdays which keeps my activities up to date
