Caitlin, garde d’enfant à Nottingham

I am currently a student at Nottingham Trent university studying Education studies and early years education which has involved a number of work placements in schools and nurseries over the past 3 years. On my course, we learn about educating children and their care. As well as this, this summer, I worked as an Au pair for a Spanish family and went to Almeria and lived there for a few months to take are of their children and improve their English language skills, so I am more than capable of caring for children and keeping them occupied. The Spanish children I cared for were 8 and 11 years old and we managed to occupy the days over the summer by doing a range of activities together such as arts and crafts, board games and drawing. I was mostly there to act as a big sister to the 2 children and make sure their summer was a fun experience which I believe it was. I am open to looking after children over the age of 3 and would prefer casual evening or emergency work during the week as an extra job.
