I am seeking a part time nanny vacancy. My name is Hayley and I am approaching 22 years of age. I have a real passion for child welfare and take pride in ensuring that Children's development is of the highest standards and am driven to understand every child’s personal needs in order to tailor the care I provide. Family is extremely important to me so I would take this role very seriously and would take great pleasure in being able to fulfill a family's needs. I would treat the children like my own under your directive.
Graduating from Bird College of Performing Arts in Kent with a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre has provided me with tools and techniques that I am able to incorporate within daily activities in order to keep the children attentive and enthused. It has also developed me into a very confident and approachable person which I believe is essential for the working relationships with the children of all ages and parents.
After moving back home to be close to my family I started teaching practical dance lessons for children aged 3-18 and adults. I also wanted to further my passion for teaching children and successfully gained a full-time job at a nursery where I worked for over 2 years with 3 months - 5 year olds (mainly based with under 2's) whilst completing my Level 3 Diploma in Children's Learning and Development, Level 2 in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health, Social Care and Children and Young People's Settings, Paediatric First Aid Course and Level 2 ICT.
I take great care in providing the highest standard of support and have the tools needed to give the children the nurturing for the best possible start to life making sure every minute is fun and safe. My understanding of children's development, activities and well being is very good having studied and worked using the EYFS (Early years Foundation Stage) curriculum within the nursery. I enthusiastically conducted a range of daily activities to cover all areas of learning such as art and design, literacy and physical development. Whilst making sure their daily needs were met. I.E preparing/feeding breakfast, lunch and dinner, preparing bottles, settling children for naps, nappy changing and of course their hygiene routines and tidying/cleaning up. A numerous amount of parents approached me for personal babysitting and since leaving have remained in contact due to my personal bonds with their children. These parents and the nursery would happily write references for your perusal.
Since moving to the Southampton area I now also take pleasure in spending quality time with my two step children (7 & 5). I am very able in art and craft and can amuse and encourage children to express themselves in this area.
I now wish to incorporate my two favourite things both on a part time basis into my working week as a dance teacher and part time nannying.
I have a full driving licence and my own car.
If you have any questions or wish to contact me please do not hesitate to do so. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
