I am a teaching graduate from the Philippines, where I worked as a teacher for four years. I moved to Wales, and worked as a teaching assistant at St. Joseph's school in Swansea for 3 years. In this role, I would carry out one-to-one activities with children with disabilities, assist the children on a daily basis in playing, eating, writing and activities in the classroom, reading stories and singing songs, and providing general assistance to the teacher.

Currently I volunteer at Glamorgan House Family Development Centre, a contact centre where children come to meet their absent family members. I meet and greet families coming to the centre, I make tea and coffee for the parents, and speak to the children. I tidy the centre at the end of the day, and work as a team member with all other volunteers and independently at the office doing general administration work.

I am also self-employed, as I have a clothes alteration and repairs business.
