Lindsey, baby sitter - SM4 Morden

Hi there!

My name is Lindsey and I'm 28 years old. i have been looking after children for the past 12 years and i love all things creative, messy, sensory, fun, singing and dancing!
My Mum has been a childminder for the past 25 years so it was only natural that i have followed in her lead as she did her Mum's. I have been babysitting for her families for the past 12 years and often still do. In addition to this i have also worked in a variety of childcare settings where i have gained a lot of experience and knowledge throughout. I began my journey in childcare in a playgroup, and then onto day nurseries as a nursery assistant. i then worked as a Deputy Manager of an After School Club and as a Deputy Manager/Acting Manager of a pre-school. I am currently working in a Children's Centre as an Early Years Practitioner where i have looked after children of a mixture of ages from the baby room to the pre-school room and previously the after school club. i have experience running groups for families in the community and this is something i really enjoy.

I am qualified NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development. I also hold a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS check (formerly known as a CRB)

I am available Monday, Tuesday and Friday full days and either a Wednesday or Thursday AM as I am a dance teacher in the afternoons on these days. My dance role is term time only so longer hours and full time in the holidays i would also be available.
