Hello dear families,

My name is Renata, I am 30 years old and I come from the Czech Republic.

I started looking after children in the UK at the age of 19, when I finished high school and wanted to take a year off to learn English before enrolling any university. I enjoyed it so much that I decided this is what I wanted to do as for my career. I have worked for 7 families all around the world for the past 11 years. I looked after children in a rage of newborns to 10 years old youngsters.

My recent family that I work for is based in Zurich/Kusnacht and I have been with them since August 2018. I look after 2 school aged children, do school pick ups/drop offs, home-works, house chores, arranging after school activities and so on. I have only recently decided that it's perhaps time for me to leave as both children are getting more independent and I feel less needed with them.

I agreed with family to help them out until the end of June, thus I would love to find a new family from anywhere between July and September.
I have been super blessed with all the families and children that I ever looked after and I think it's mainly because I usually take my time in choosing a new family. That's why I already started to seek for a new place to help now, way long in advance.

I would say I am easy going and well organized person who respects other’s requirements. Through my years of experiences with children I learned a lot about their behavior, reactions, mood and needs. Every child is different but my experiences taught me how to handle most of situations. As for now, I feel very comfortable with children.
I sometimes feel like Peter Pan, someone who doesn’t really want to grow into a grown up life. I love board games, riding bikes and playing games, so perhaps that’s the reason I bond well with kids.

As for my hobbies - I love outdoors and spend most of my weekends in the mountains - hiking, climbing, skiing, and snowshoeing.

I speak fluently Czech and English and have an intermediate level of Spanish. I recently started a German course and I am hopping to have B2 level by July.

My first aid certificate has expired in November 2019 but I will have it renewed by May this year.
I hold a valid B permit and a Swiss driving license.

I seek for a full time/80%, live-out position in Zurich or around.
