My name is Michelli, I am 24 years old, Brazilian, and a childcare specialist. I have always loved the experience of helping with child development, and in 2022, I had the opportunity to go to the United States and experience a cultural exchange for 2 years as an au pair. I completed training, specialized in first aid, and embarked on this incredible experience to care for two children: a 1-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl. I was responsible for waking them up, preparing breakfast, getting them ready for school, preparing their backpacks, and driving them to school. Afterward, I would pick them up and take them to extracurricular activities, such as libraries, playgrounds, zoos, museums, and aquariums. I was also responsible for preparing dinner, giving them a bath, and following their bedtime routine.
Before this experience, when I was still in Brazil, I took care of a newborn until he turned 1 year old. I have extensive experience with introducing solid foods and potty training.
