Leah, baby-sitter - HP17 Haddenham

Hello! I have worked with numerous families over the years, ages from newborn to 12. When caring for one's children, you almost become part of the family, and as such I maintain contact with each of them and have been blessed to be given happy references from all. I am looking for 2-3 days a week of nannying in order to work the other days of the week at relocating my photography & design business to this part of the world. Therefore, I am fairly flexible, only the family needs to be located in the village of Haddenham as I come on foot! I and would love to hear what your needs are as a family to see if we might work well together. My husband is British, I'm American, and we've just resettled in Haddenham while he pursues his MSc in Oxford. I worked for many years in cross-cultural ministry, living in various countries, and always, no matter what I was doing, there were kids involved. I'm especially experienced with (and have an affinity for) infants and toddlers, and I worked for awhile in both eastern Europe and Africa with ministries rehabilitating malnourished and abandoned babies. I like to teach the children in my care about how interesting and big the world is, and how we must have empathy for each other in it, take them to activities that expand their minds and experience, and read mountains of children's books :)
