Emily, baby sitter - NR32 Corton

Hello! I am Emily and I am 16 years old. I taken care of my brother, who is now aged 12, for the past 2 years and have recently welcomed a baby brother who I take care of for up to 5 hours at once.

I am looking to babysit for families with children of any age. I take pride in my grades and school work ethic, and I would be more than happy to help children with their homework (primary or secondary). I am also a confident cook, and would love to cook dinners and prepare lunches. Being a clean and tidy person comes in handy as I won’t leave mess, and any mess that could be created I would clean efficiently. I love playing games and find that it can really help with creating bonds with children. I can bring my own games if you do not have any. In September, I am going to start A-Level Fine Art and A-Level Textiles & Fashion. As you can tell, I adore art and would love to do Arts and Crafts with children - whatever their ability.

While my brother was in primary education, I used to: pick him up from school and walk him home, ask questions about his day while trying to get him to recall what he learned during the day, make him an after school snack, help him with his homework, play games with him, make him dinner, and put him to bed. I found it to be an amazing routine which ensured he was having fun whilst also consolidating what he had been taught.

While I don’t have formal experience, I would really take pride in childminding and I hope my personality and family experience have caught your eye.
