Rahel, baby-sitting à Addington

From an early age, I have had experience helping and caring for relatives and friends' children. Since 2011 my mother has been a Foster Carer and I have had the absolute honour of being a Foster Carer Guardian and supporting 12 children with ages ranging from birth to 10 years old (including two premature twins) and 4 teenagers ages ranging from 15- 16 years of age. We have supported kids to be potty trained, speak words and learn how to walk. My other responsibilities included helping with homework, checking medication schedules, preparing meals, and arranging activities, outings and school runs. Over the past year, I have been babysitting a 1-year-old and the hours I babysat, were dependent on the parent's working schedule. My aunty has an autistic son who I have regularly babysat on a 2-week/monthly basis since he was a baby and is now 9 years old, so I have experience and awareness looking after a child with SEN.
