Ruth, babysitter - G20 Maryhill

My name is Ruth, I'm 19 going on 20, and I study at Glasgow University.
I am looking for part time nannying that I can fit around my Uni Schedule (and more around Holidays). A bonus is that my uni schedule is not too demanding (only in classes for around 12-13 hours a week), this gives me a lot of free time and flexibility regarding hours.
I am an extremely empathic, caring person, especially with children. I really value children's opinions, thoughts and imaginations. I pride myself on my patience and kindness, and feel so much care and responsibility for children.
Although my experience is not super extensive, I have been babysitting/childminding since I was 16, mostly for family, friends and friends of friends, this has provided for a good network of trust and really given me some fun and rewarding memories.
I'm a child at heart, meaning I have a unique way of speaking to kids, as the people and humans they are, not with a condescending, patronising tone. When I speak to kids, I go on a similar wave length to them, but also have the ability to be firm and fair.
I feel my age is actually an advantage when I babysit, mostly for school age kids, as I am more relatable, energetic and "fun".
I am perfectly comfortable cooking healthy meals and snacks for kids as well as having a good grasp of all school subjects - meaning that I'd be more than happy to help with school work and projects.
For a while I have really been interested in child psychology, actually applying to and interviewing for numerous apprenticeships in childcare before finishing school, though after thought and consideration, I decided to go to university and get my degree first.
I live in the West End area, and know it very well, I do not drive (though I am learning) and am perfectly willing to use public transport/walk to my destinations.
