👶 LOOKING FOR A NANNY / HOUSEKEEPER – PARIS 9th/18th – STARTING OCTOBER

📍 Location: Paris 9th/18th, near Place de Clichy
📅 Start date: October 2026
⏰ Hours:
• October to December: approximately 8:30am–4pm, Monday to Friday
• From January: approximately 8:30am–6pm
• Possibility of occasional evening babysitting outside the regular contract, depending on availability

👶 The childcare

Our little boy will be almost 10 months old in October. From January, a second baby of around 4 months old should join the childcare arrangement.

We are looking first and foremost for someone who genuinely loves taking care of babies and supporting their development: age-appropriate play, motor skills activities, songs, books, puzzles, outings, etc.

During nap times, we would also appreciate some help with light household tasks: keeping the kitchen tidy, loading/unloading the dishwasher, hanging up laundry, folding clothes, etc. We are not looking for deep cleaning.

❤️ Who we are looking for

Solid experience with babies is ESSENTIAL, ideally with children under one year old. Please do not contact me if you have never regularly looked after a baby of this age.

We will also ask for one or two strong and verifiable references from previous employers.

Our parenting approach is extremely important to us. We are looking for someone gentle, affectionate, patient and caring, who genuinely shares this way of caring for children.

We do not leave our baby to cry alone when he needs support to fall asleep. We try to put ourselves in the child’s shoes, acknowledge their emotions and support them through difficult moments. No shouting, threats or punishment. Of course, gentle parenting does not mean having no boundaries 😊 We will also be happy to explain and guide you on how we approach different situations.

We try to stay informed about current recommendations regarding child development, parenting and safety.

🧸 You enjoy doing real developmental activities with children adapted to their age: motor skills, songs, books, games, puzzles, etc.

🩹 You know infant first aid and take safety very seriously. After kindness and affection, safety is probably our second biggest priority: no whole cherry tomatoes, no small objects within reach, constant attention to choking hazards, etc. 😊

🏠 I work from home every day, so you need to be comfortable with me being in the apartment. You will naturally see me from time to time during the day, but I promise I’m friendly 😄 I am looking for someone I can fully trust and give plenty of autonomy to.

Above all, we are looking for someone who can become a stable and loving attachment figure for our baby and stay with our family long term. ❤️
