Emma, jeune fille au pair - SY10 Edgerley

I am a well-rounded individual with a broad range of work experience; I have worked within the media, administration and more recently have been assisting my partner, Carl, to set up his businesses and the management of the poultry as a hobby. However, I have found that my passion is to work with people doing a practical role in a family environment. I frequently babysit for my Aunt, who has two school aged children and a regular turnover of fostered new-born babies and infants. I am used to dropping-off and collecting children at school as I have done this to help my Auntie since the age of 18. I also care for dogs often, these include old dogs, working dogs and a Staffordshire bull terrier, I ensure dogs are obedient when in my control and have a good level of dog training knowledge. Coming from a large family, I have experience with the running and management of a family household. I enjoy keeping my environment clean and well organised, and apply this to both my home, work and hobbies. I currently assist my mother in daily chores including washing, ironing and laundry and have also recently been helping an elderly relative to de-clutter and organise their home.

I am from a very close-knit family in the Shropshire countryside, with two siblings, and I have a strong work ethic. I maintain a healthy lifestyle through playing team sports weekly, outdoor activities and eating health-conscious foods. I thoroughly enjoy cooking and given the chance to prepare healthy meals for a family would be the perfect job for me. I have my own transport, I am a non-smoker and are I am flexible with my work commitments despite having my own hobbies. I am honest, calm, hardworking, and I am not afraid to ask for advice if required.
