Hello, my name is Angelica , and I'm writing to apply for the Babysitter position with your family. I have 3years of experience working with children, including jobs at summer camps and children's museums. I've been babysitting regularly for the last two years.
My most recent Babysitter position was with a family of 4 whose children ranged from ages 2 to 12. I'm sure you can imagine the constant commotion involved in caring for four children, but it's the kind of challenge I find fun and exciting. Three days a week, I helped the older kids get ready for school and then stayed with the younger children until their parents got home from work.
During the day, the younger children and I would play games, do arts and crafts, enjoy educational activities and have a home-cooked lunch. I was also available to care for the older children when they stayed home sick from school or to babysit nights and weekends when the parents wanted a date night. My clients have often expressed appreciation for my adaptability, enthusiasm and ability to handle any type of situation.
Since my most recent clients moved out of town, I currently have a very flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. I can usually start as early as 8a.m. and can stay until at least 5p.m. I'm happy with either arrangement.
