I have always had a strong interest in caring for those younger than myself, a natural strength in nurturing and bringing out the best in people. From a very early age I wanted to find a career in childcare and have experience from babysitting and caring for children within my family. I enjoy making a positive difference to the people I meet and feel a career in childcare and development would also bring me personal satisfaction. I am very hardworking and dedicated with a strong sense of morals and responsibility.

I have experience with children aged 5-11 through a course that allowed me to teach sports and games in order to develop their self-confidence and hopefully a love of being outdoors. I was also able to interact and help special needs students to participate in most of the activities and feel safe and included.
I was also selected to teach once a week in a year 7 History class. This allowed me to gain skills in helping children educationally as well as emotionally which I feel would help me as a nanny because I could help with homework if necessary.
