Rachel, auxiliaire parentale à Gilgarran

I am 16 years old nearly 17. I have experience with looking after and helping children. I have just left Keswick school and am currently looking for work so I can gain more work experience. I am responsible, mature and kind. I am able to look after young children as well as older ones. I can cook, clean, handle bath and bed time so nothing will challenge me when caring for children.
I used to baby sit my two younger cousins whilst my Aunty went to work or out shopping.
For my work experience I chose to go to Rainbow Nursery in St Bees where I looked after children from the age of 1 years old to 4/5 years old. I helped with snack and lunch time feedings, play time and nap time. Whilst I was at Rainbow Nursery I enjoyed every moment I was there, even though I was only there for a week it was such an experience seeing even the younger children recognize me when I walked in the morning and seeing how fast they can develop in such a short space of time.
At the moment I help out looking after my friends 3 younger brother and 2 younger sisters whilst they and their mum are out and at work.
I am available Mondays-Fridays and weekends and am willing giving up my plans to be able to help someone out.
