Having always worked with children of varying ages and in a number of positions I have experience across a broad range of curriculum lead activities. I have a particular interest in childrens literature and arts and craft lead learning. As an example of this I find encouraging and helping young people to create labelled collages of the seasons can be a fantastic way to engage children in a very visual way with the natural world and with developing their descriptive language. I also enjoy taking children outdoors to play and in inclement weather helping them to read a good book indoors or take part in educational play.

I am currently focused on gaining a career as a Nanny or Mothers Help as I excel at connecting with children on an individual level. One of the aspects of the job I particularly enjoy is getting to know a child over a period of time to build a meaningful relationship. I will allow and aid your child to develop and grow personally and academically in a calm and fun environment.

My current position involves working with pre-school children from 6 months to 4 years of age providing pastoral care and engaging them with age appropriate activities. I have a wealth of experience as a Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant in a number of primary schools across Cambridgeshire. During this time I worked with special needs children and those excelling academically to provide additional support across a range of abilities. Previously I have worked as a registered childminder, whilst bringing up my four children, requiring high levels of enthusiasm and organisation!

As a Nanny or Mothers Help I can bring a great deal of experience to the role. I find it incredibly rewarding working with and getting to know children and love coming up with activities for each individual child to enjoy. I hope to get to know and help be a part of another childs journey soon.
