Hi! I’m Brooke, a caring, dependable, and organized person with experience supporting both children and families. In 2016, I worked as an au pair for a family in Marseille, which gave me the opportunity to experience childcare in a family setting while living abroad. I also spent a year working in social services, where part of my role involved supervised visitation and companionship, helping me develop strong skills in patience, communication, attentiveness, and creating a safe, supportive environment.

I’m currently living in France for the year while my husband, who is a doctor, completes a medical fellowship. We will be returning to Canada at the end of summer 2027. At this stage in my life, family has become increasingly important to me, and I’m intentionally making the move back toward childcare. My husband and I hope to start a family of our own once we return to Canada, and in the meantime, I would genuinely love the opportunity to become a trusted part of another family’s life, help make their days easier, and spend more time around children.

I’m warm, patient, creative, and comfortable taking initiative, whether that means helping with routines, meals, activities, outings, schoolwork, or simply keeping the day running smoothly. I also understand how important trust is when welcoming someone into your home, so I place a lot of value on reliability, clear communication, and respecting each family’s routines and parenting style. I’m hoping to find a family where I can build a genuine relationship and be someone both the children and parents feel comfortable relying on.
